CMS Issues Proposed Physician Fee Schedule for Calendar Year 2016

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services has issued its proposed rule for the calendar year 2016 physician fee schedule. This major proposed rule addresses changes to the physician fee schedule, and other Medicare Part B payment policies to ensure that CMS payment systems are updated to reflect changes in medical practice and the relative value of services, as well as changes in the statute.
